Singapore Design Week 2024 X BLACK
BLACK was commissioned to create a distinct district identity for Marina Central
aiming to enhance its appeal and highlight the unique character of each development. The goal was to encourage visitors to explore the district, boost spending, and attract more foot traffic. To achieve this, we collaborated with Design Sojourn, conducting brand and market research, on-ground surveys, focus groups, and interviews with stakeholders. The name “Marina Central” was chosen to emphasize its central location and elevate the district’s perception. The tagline, “A vibrant district at the heart of Marina, where business meets leisure,” positions the area as a key convergence point. The logo, designed for unity and distinction, symbolizes collaboration and progress. A teal and ivory color palette was selected to convey sophistication and creativity, connecting visually to the waterfront. Brand illustrations by 8eyedspud capture the district’s authenticity and energy, serving as versatile elements across various branding touchpoints.This version is concise while retaining the key details of the project.
