BRAND REFRESHING
Challenges:
Confusing Brand Names
- Although the store is named ‘Jia by OCK’, Jia and OCK are actually separate businesses operating independently, which may confuse customers
- The annual event, ‘Jia Curated Kiosks’ (JCK), has evolved significantly from a small bazaar to a full-fledged event over the past 4 years, making the name ‘kiosks’ potentially misleading about the event’s scale and experience
- The acronym ‘JCK’ is also not intuitive, especially for new audiences, and does not effectively communicate what the event is about
Inconsistent Brand Identity
- Jia covers a wide range of offerings, — including retail stores, services, an annual event and various programmes, each with its own unique brand identity and design style, leading to inconsistency of the brand

- The JCK logo and typeface does not fully capture the event’s atmosphere or character
